1. For some men, it’s not that the way they flirt makes women uncomfortable (although they do make women uncomfortable). It’s not even that they flirt in order to make women uncomfortable. It’s that, for them, making women uncomfortable isn’t “flirting” in the sense of some prelude to an act: it is the act itself. Insofar as sex, for them, is the act of male dominance and female submission, making women uncomfortable is the sex act. They deliberately cause women’s discomfort and get off on it. It is sexual for them.
